Workflow concepts

Workflows are processes that automate operations across campaigns in the same service.

To execute a workflow process you need a workflow definition. Workflow definitions are versioned documents in a service that contain:

• a workflow script
• zero or more agent scripts.

Workflow scripts are sequences of tasks and transition points that implement a business process. Agent scripts are scripts that run in uAgent or in Automated Agents.

Use Script Developer to design workflow and agent scripts. Script Developer compresses the workflow script with the associated agent scripts and produces a workflow definition. To create and execute workflow processes with the workflow definition, you must publish the workflow definition to a service in the Altitude uCI Server.
