High availability cluster architecture
Description of the clusters for high availability.
The high availability cluster architecture has the following clusters:
- Core cluster: Cluster of central services that distribute media interactions such as calls, emails, and instant messaging to the agents, manage the customer data, and provide other core functionalities of the contact center.
- Storage cluster: Cluster of machines that support file storage, with a Scale-Out File Server.
- Database cluster: Cluster of machines running SQL Server on a cluster architecture.
- Telephony cluster: Cluster of switch servers that support voice media interactions.
- Routing cluster: Cluster with routing applications that provide intelligent routing and voice prompting.
- Proxy cluster: Cluster with proxy and daemon tools that monitor the health of the proxy.
- Web apps: Applications that support the contact center operation and accept connections from the desktop client applications of agents and supervisors.
- QMS: QMS servers running in high-availability.
- Infrastructure: Set of applications and tools that provide monitoring features and react on failures of the other modules.
