How to configure campaigns for the Altitude switch simulator
Use Management Portal to configure campaign attributes depending on the campaign scenario.
The following configuration tables display the configurations specific to the Altitude switch simulator for the supported campaign scenarios.
- Extensions: Agent campaigns with simulated extensions.
- ACD: Agent campaigns with simulated ACD group.
- Routing: Routing campaigns with simulated telephony.
To configure the supported campaign scenarios, use the following table to define the virtual switch simulator devices.

Telephony gateway
On the telephony gateway, configure the following:
- The number of simulated trunk lines and the behavior of contacts and agents.
- For outbound calls, the outcome probabilities and the durations of the respective calls.
- For inbound calls, inbound generators.
- Agent and IVR extensions.
- Routing points, if needed for inbound.
The Altitude switch simulator does not use virtual extensions and call classifiers, and classifies outbound calls according to the configured probabilities.
