- The Avaya parameter Copy ASAI UUI During Conference/Transfer? is set to y and the Altitude uCI Server parameter CALL_DATA_TRANSFER_CANNOT_BE_REUSED is set to 0 or is not defined.

-
Configure the TSAPI connection to the Avaya S8000.
In the Windows directory (for example, C:\Windows) of the Altitude telephony gateway computer, create the text file Tslib.ini with the hostname or IP address and the port number of the TSAPI servers separated by an equal sign (=). The default port number is 450.
[telephony servers]10.4.0.12=45010.7.0.12=450 - Configure Avaya phones. The Altitude telephony gateway uses the directory numbers of the phones as Agent extensions.
- Configure trunks between Avaya S8000 switches. For multi-switch configurations, connect the Avaya S8000 switches with proprietary trunks. The Altitude telephony gateways use the trunk prefixes to configure Multi-site access rules.
Next: After configuring Avaya phones, configure Avaya devices with or without skills.
To send the UCID to the Communication Server, configure the parameter UUI Treatment to shared in the Avaya trunk group that connects Avaya to the Communication Server. The Communication Server sends this information to the Altitude uCI Server.
You must configure the SIP trunk in the Communication Server to receive the UCID.
