Script Developer features

  • The node editor has a property grid to edit the properties and events of the graphical elements.

Running scripts in the Agent Portal

  • Scripts are HTML pages downloaded from the web server.
  • Scripts run in the web server.
  • You cannot use function keys.

Actions of the Altitude Scripting Language

The Agent Portal uses NETWORK_SERVICE security settings to execute the following actions in the web server:

  • file cursor
  • download document
  • upload new document
  • upload new revision
  • email editor add attachment file
  • email editor save attachment
  • instant messaging control save transcript

ASL scripts developed with ASL Web Edition for human agent campaigns have the following limitations:

The Agent Portal uses NETWORK_SERVICE security settings to execute the built-in actions in the web server.

Web browser

Web browsers cannot change the position of the toolbar.

The web browser graphical element for the Agent Portal does not include the toolbar or event processing.

The web browser does not support the following actions:

  • go back

  • go forward

  • stop

  • refresh

  • print

  • input font

  • background color

 

You cannot open URLs that you cannot use inside frames. For example, https://www.google.com.

 

Email editor

The interface of the email editor graphical element is the interface of the Agent Portal email page.

 

The user cannot hide toolbars.

The email editor graphical element for the Agent Portal does not support hiding the toolbars.

Instant messaging

The interface of the instant messaging graphical element is the interface of the Agent Portal instant messaging page.

 

The user cannot change the color of the participants of an interaction.

The instant messaging graphical element for the Agent Portal does not support changing the color of the participants.

Function keys

The Agent Portal does not support function keys.

 

External DLLs

DLLs run in the web server.

 

File cursor

The file must be located on the Web server.

 

now()

Returns the current date and time on the Web server.
