Script Developer concepts

Script Developer is a programming environment that you use to develop uAgent, IVR, and routing scripts in ASL.

ASL is a programming language developed by Altitude with specific functionality to develop scripts that handle interactions. Script Developer enables you to create, edit, test, and publish scripts.

You can test scripts online or offline. To test scripts online, you must connect the Script Developer to the Altitude uCI Server. If you test scripts without connecting to the Altitude uCI Server, scripts do not have access to contact center data.

Important

Testing human agent scripts in Script Developer does not cover all ASL features. To ensure a complete and correct test of your human agent scripts, Altitude recommends exporting the script and using the Agent Portal.
